Cookie Casa Gets Sweeter

With a modified name and a spot on The Sweets Truck, Cookie Casa Bakery is heating up just in time for the holidays.

What do you get when you add a dash of homemade tradition, a savor for sweets and a craving for expanding your brand? You get a recipe for sweet success, which is exactly what Cookie Casa Bakery is cooking up with its recent partnership with Greg Rogers PR, The Sweets Truck and Dreamentia Creative Laboratories.

Decades ago, a family baking tradition began. Homemade treats were always a staple at Erin Zabel’s family gatherings. Molasses ginger cookies, Snickerdoodles, and Roscos (a tender Spanish cookie rolled in cinnamon and sugar) are just a few tasty treats that Erin’s family perfected.

Finally, seven years ago, with the encouragement of friends and family, Erin was ready to take the plunge and answer her culinary calling. Dreamentia Creative Laboratories, a Los Angeles-based creative agency, jumped on board to assist in helping her build her brand, and to aid in defining the Cookie Casa’s homemade “corporate” identity.

What started out as a family’s love for baking has now become so much more over the years. To the pleasure of most taste buds, Cookie Casa has become well recognized not just for its cookies, but also for its scrumptious cakes, alluring sweet bars, and nostalgic baskets. And as Cookie Casa has continued to grow and gain momentum, new marketing and sales objectives have now been set for 2010, as Cookie Casa will officially step outside of the cookie box - extending the name to Cookie Casa Bakery; a name that will embody all that the brand has to offer.

With a new name comes along exciting new ventures that Greg Rogers PR, The Sweets Truck and Dreamentia Creative Laboratories intend to implement in order to take the business to the next level.

Cookie Casa Bakery allows customers to their orders delivered right to their doorstep. And with the new partnership of Greg Rogers PR, Cookie Casa Bakery has joined the mobile food movement by signing on with “The Sweets Truck,” a premier mobile emporium of some of the tastiest treats the city has to offer. Already receiving rave reviews from its followers as well as local publications, “The Sweets Truck” has partnered with some of the city’s best bakeries to round up a constantly evolving mix of delectable goodies and decadent coffees and teas to please everyone’s pallet.

“We are very excited to continue to assist Cookie Casa Bakery with its branding efforts,” DCL Account Executive Nathalie Iracheta says, “while collaborating with Greg Rogers to get Cookie Casa Bakery featured in blogs, culinary magazines and showcased in special events throughout the city of Los Angeles. This dynamic trio’s recipe for success will make Cookie Casa Bakery ‘The sweetest LA Bakery of all.’”

“The sweetest LA Bakery of all” is definitely within reach, as the Zabel’s family baking secrets are coming to light and taking the mainstream by storm. Erin has come a long way from a young girl in her family’s kitchen. And by staying true to her rich heritage, she has established a hands-on bakery that offers some of the finest homemade treats, each of which is sure to tickle your sugar rush fancy, and undoubtedly leave you yearning for more.
